History:
Newmarket
Celtic was founded in 1968 by a group of men who had seen the effect of soccer
in England following their World Cup victory in 1966.
Newmarket Celtic has been to the fore of Clare
Soccer since its inception with player's such
as Ryan's, Sheedy's, Collins, Pat
Coughlan, Mike O'Malley Snr. & Jnr., and many more besides.
