Ennis Town Football Academy was established in 2003. The Academy is a school of
soccer learning, and has developed
a child centred ethos to ensure
the child protection act is provided within a structured football-learning
programme appropriate to the age, ability and growth of the player in a safe and
coaching ratio environment. Every Academy Coach has Child Protection Act and is
up on the F.A.I database. All coaches in the Academy have their Kick Start 1.
Also others coaches have Level 1, Level 2, UEFA B Licence, F.A. Level 1 &
2 Psychology for Football, S.A.Q.’s Level 1 and First Aid.

Ball Mastery
- is the starting point and the
foundation of Ennis Town Football Academy. Ball control is the foundation
that all other parts of the game can be built on.
Ennis Town Football Academy operates One player, one ball, repetition
exercises using both feet in a fun environment.

Academy’s Drill of Ball Mastery -
This the corner stone of Ennis Town Football Academy,
1 player 1 ball, designed to develop touch and control with high
repetition exercises using both
feet in a fun coaching environment.

Kicking Techniques
- Exercises designed to learn and
develop the proper passing, receiving and shooting techniques all
incorporating balance and co-ordination in a fun environment.

Games
- Creating a fun environment where players are encouraged to apply
individual skills and techniques learned from the other triangle building
blocks. All games are in a fun environment.

Schoolboy Section
After 9 years old they progress to the
schoolboy section of the Academy where they will have be able the progress
the skills they have learnt and developed. Ennis Town
Football Academy schoolboys are from under 10’s to under 12’s.
