Programme:

05/10/07 – Parents/players presentation.  Parents notified of commitment required, particularly in run up to Kennedy Cup.  Parents to return player/parent codes of conduct and €50 (cheque made payable to CPSSL) for emerging talent kit, in an envelope with players name on.  Contribution of €2 to be paid at each session/match

Jan/Feb 2008 – Completion of Emerging Talent Programme.  Selection of panel of 20 for the Kennedy Cup tournament.  Training steps up to 2 sessions per week.

Easter 2008 – (To be confirmed)-Travel to a preparatory tournament

May 2008 – 1 day CPSSL organised preparatory tournament at Lees Road

End May 2008 – Additional sessions in run-up to tournament.

09/06/08-13/06/08 – Kennedy Cup Tournament at University of Limerick (Dates to be finalised).  Players stay at the university for week.

Late Summer 2008– Emerging Talent programme including national and regional centres recommences.

Parents should notify the relevant head coach if their child is unable to attend a session, including the reason why.  Players from Avenue, Lifford, Moher, Ennis, Newtown should contact Dave Kerin.  Players from all other clubs should make contact with Clive Slater. 

When arriving at sessions parents MUST ensure that the coaches are present
before leaving their child.
