| The Clare People Schoolboys/Girls
Soccer League (CPSSL) is under the jurisdiction of the Schoolboys Football
Association of Ireland (SFAI). The object of CPSSL is to promote the game
of association football for boys up to sixteen years of age and girls up
to the age of thirteen in accordance with the rules of the SFAI.
Membership of CPSSL is open to any club in Clare. Clubs applying for
membership must do so in writing and must satisfy CPSSL as to suitability
of their playing area and changing facilities.
Presently Clubs from within Co Clare cater for the following age groups
U11, U12, U13, U14, U15 & U16 and during the summer months organise
" Super Sevens " which caters for the U8 & U10
age groups.
The Clare People Schoolboys/Girls Soccer League presently has over 1,500 players
registered between the ages of 8 to 16 playing in the various leagues and
consists of 20 Clubs catering for 73 teams from the following regions
within the county: -
